1. Requires some drilling (Not Major).
13. The optional brush guards interfere with mounting the baseplate. Part #
BX3502 Center section for the Samurai is compatible.
18. Soft bottom edge of bumper must be compressed rearward about 1 1/2".
30. Steel belly pan must be removed.
36. Lower bumper plastic must be notched to allow attachment tabs to protrude.
52. The Geo name is no longer used. The ‘98 Metro and Tracker etc. are
now found under the Chevrolet category.
IR: Installation Rating. Level of difficulty for baseplate installation by a skilled mechanic. (1) being the easiest and (5) being the most difficult.
